Remove top of tank by grabbing lid in recessed area on either side of filter to remove. Remove filter from lid. Remove debris from mesh screen of lid. Pull strainer tab up and out of tank to separate debris from dirty water. Dispose of debris. Pour dirty water into sink and rinse. Replace strainer and dirty tank lid. Insert bottom of tank first. To Empty the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Remove dirt tank by pushing the dirt tank release button on top of the tank handle. Holding dirt tank over garbage bin, press release button on back. Snap bottom back into place and return to machine pushing to lock into place. To Clean the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Remove dirt tank by pushing the dirt tank release button on top of the tank handle. Open dirt tank lid by lifting the release latch. Remove primary separator by lifting out of the dirt tank. Container and separator can be washed with hand-warm water. Mild detergent may be used. Rinse well then air dry completely. To Empty the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Press the tank release button and pull out to remove dirt tank. Hold the dirt tank over a trash bin. Press the bottom release button to empty. Twist cyclone clockwise and pull down to remove from tank. Clean cyclone with warm water and mild detergent. Let dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Twist cyclone counter-clockwise to reinstall.
