Dirty Water Tank for the BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac. When the Dirty Water Tank is full, your machine will turn OFF, beep and the Dirty Water Tank Full icon will blink orange on the Digital Display. To remove the Dirty Water Tank, press the button on top of the tank, grab the front handle and pull the tank out Remove the top of the Dirty Water Tank by grasping the recessed areas on each side of the filter and pulling up Separate the hair and debris from the dirty water by grasping the strainer tab and pulling up. Throw the debris into the trash. Pour the dirty water into the sink and rinse the Dirty Water Tank Remove the filter from the top of the Dirty Water Tank by pulling it up Hand wash the filter and screen with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse the bottom of the Dirty Water Tank Cover Leave the parts out to dry before reassembling Once all parts are dry, reassemble the filter and the Dirty Water Tank cover Angle the Dirty Water Tank back into the body of the machine. To Clean the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Remove dirt tank by pushing the dirt tank release button on top of the tank handle. Open dirt tank lid by lifting the release latch. Remove primary separator by lifting out of the dirt tank. Container and separator can be washed with hand-warm water. Mild detergent may be used. Rinse well then air dry completely. Filter Assembly for the BOLT 1954 Series. While holding the tab, remove the filter assembly from the dirt cup. To disassemble for a through cleaning, firmly grasp the filter assembly tab with one hand and mesh filter frame with the other. Turn the tab to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock from the mesh filter frame. To re-assemble the filter, insert the pleated filter into the mesh filter frame. While firmly holding the mesh filter frame, turn the tab to the right (clockwise) to clock the pieces together. NOTE: You may rinse the filter and frame in warm water to clean. The filter and frame need to be 100% dry before reuse. The key to maximum performance is having a clean filter. Cleaning the filter after each use will help your vacuum operate at peak efficiency. To Empty the Dirt Tank, follow these steps: Turn OFF your machine. Remove the Dirt Tank from the Hand Vacuum by pressing the Tank Release Button on the front of the tank. Grab the middle grip of the filter and pull up. This will activate a wiping feature to remove debris from the mesh filter screen. Twisting the grip will remove the filter only. Fully remove the separator from the tank and tap mesh screen on the side of the trash bin. Dump dirt from the tank into the trash bin. Slide the separator back into the tank, ensuring the notch is seated into the tank correctly. Reattach tank by guiding the bottom into the hook on the hand vacuum. Push into place.
