The initial impression of a drum throne is often determined by the hardness of the seat. With this in mind, the HT530BCN Glide Rider drum throne has been crafted to provide an ideal balance between softness and hardness, ensuring a comfortable fit for drummers of all styles and disciplines.The Glide Rider Seat employs a saddle-type design, featuring a molded urethane foam cushion that retains its shape over time, ensuring long-lasting comfort. Underneath the cushion, a 12mm thick plywood base provides additional strength and security, ensuring the throne can withstand even the most intense drumming sessions.The HT530BCN drum throne also features a newly designed cloth top. This special fabric material is designed to wick away perspiration, preventing drummers from slipping during performances and providing an extra layer of comfort.The Glide-Tite Grip Joint, a patented design, allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point. This results in an extremely solid base attachment, even for the heaviest hitters. The Seat Lock design utilizes a two-piece locking hinge collar system for superior throne base to seat connection, and an oversized wing nut for easy and secure tightening.The Super Stabilizer Design lowers the distance of the center throne pipe to the floor, achieving a lower center of gravity for enhanced stability. The design also includes double-braced tripod legs that do not taper at the point they insert into the rubber feet, further improving stability.The 1st Chair's height adjustment system blends a threaded rod throne with a T-bolt system, offering easy and fast height adjustment. The throne also features oversized rubber feet that are 1.5 times larger than previous models, optimizing stability.The HT530BCN drum throne also includes TAMA's "Rocklok" feature, a specially designed Nylon Bushing at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod that prevents side-to-side motion within the base.
