The Wāvtech mini series amplifiers pack an incredible amount of power and features into an extremely small package. Still, with a width of only 4.5”, there are some limitations. That is where the plus series comes in. While still incredibly small at just 5.5” wide, that extra 1” opens up some interesting possibilities. Introducing the link700.4plus The link700.4plus is the most versatile 4-channel amplifier available. Like our mini series multi-channel amplifiers, the plus series models have built-in summing. But with the additional width, we can now accommodate 6-channels of input. That means you can sum a 3-way OEM system and get front and rear full-range output, plus an RCA Pre-Out for a subwoofer amplifier. It is powerful, producing 100 watts x 4 RMS @ 4 ohms, or 175 watts RMS x 4 @ 2 ohms. In BTL mode the power is 350 watts x 2 RMS @ 4 ohms. The link700.4plus has our bassFREQ processor, with 24 dB/octave lowpass and subsonic filters, as well as a fully adjustable 1-band parametric EQ. A pair of new front speakers and a subwoofer is one of the most common aftermarket audio upgrades. The link500.4mini is the perfect amplifier for this application. When used in 3-channel mode, the amplifier can produce 125 watts x 2 for the main speakers and 250 watts x 1 for the subwoofer, so it won’t lack for power. Speaking of the subwoofer, channels 3/4 have a 1-band PEQ, a subsonic filter and the ability to add an RLC to fine tune the subwoofers performance. The link1000.5plus is the perfect complete system amplifier. One of the drawbacks of most 5-channel amplifiers is that while there is usually enough power for the front and rear main speakers, the power left over of the subwoofer is limited. Not so with the link1000.5plus. Channel 5 produces a robust 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, enough for most subwoofer systems. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, the link1000.5mini has built-in adaptive loading and can accept up the 40V of input. The link1500.1plus is the result of extensive engineering and development. The goal was an amplifier with the same power output at either 2 or 1 ohm. This amp makes 1500 watts RMS @ 2 or 1 ohm. One of the drawbacks of most 5-channel amplifiers is that while there is usually enough power for the front and rear main speakers, the power left over of the subwoofer is limited. Not so with the link1000.5plus. Channel 5 produces a robust 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, enough for most subwoofer systems. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, the link1000.5mini has built-in adaptive loading and can accept up the 40V of input.
