The handles were recut from a pine wood shelf and routed out and carefully attached after sealing. Each is heat resistant to approximately 140 degrees Celsius or 284 Fahrenheit. The luxurious dark green Italian baize backing protects your table from scratches. You can also use it as a serving tray in the middle of the table. The top is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. For sticky marks add a drop of washing liquid to the cloth/sponge.
