Dirt Tank for Select BISSELL Portable Carpet Cleaners. Click on "View Products" to ensure this fits your machine. To empty the Dirt Tank, follow these instructions: Empty before debris reaches FULL line. Turn power OFF. Hold machine vertically and press release button to remove tank. Grasp filter tabs and pull up to remove. Empty dirt tank into trash bin. Tap filter firmly on side of trash bin. Optional: Hand wash dirt tank in warm water and mild detergent. After heavy use, clean filter and filter cup. Twist to separate. Wash filter and cup gently by hand in warm water and mild dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Let tank and filter dry completely before reassembling. Reinstall dirt tank. Tank will click into place. Note: When reinstalling dirt tank, make sure both pieces of dry vacuum attachment are secured on machine. Dirt Tank 1636220

Follow these instructions to properly fill the Clean Tank: NOTE: Fill with warm (140F/60C MAX) tap water and add the appropriate BISSELL formula. Do not use boiling water. Firmly insert the formula bottle into the cap on the tank and squeeze until formula reaches the Formula line.
